Positive Regard Practitioner Programme
Programme Overview
This one day training course aims to develop skilled Positive Regard Practitioners that can confidently implement relational practice within their setting.
This course will focus on a variety of skills to help contribute towards a reduction in challenging behaviours. We recognise that every interaction with children should be considered and consistent with colleagues that work inside and outside of the classroom.

- Considering systems vs relationships
- The impacts of trauma
- Technological interruptions
- De-escalation techniques
- Regulation techniques
- Language scripts to support challenging behaviours
- Restorative approaches
Audience :
This course is open to any colleagues working with children or wanting to learn more about how to implement relational practice. This training provides the foundation and knowledge to create a shared culture for everyone in school, including non-teaching colleagues.
