James began work in further education supporting learners who required extra support to access college. James joined Wellspring during the trust’s infancy and spent several years developing and leading the outdoor education offer across an alternative provision and special school. Shortly after, he became a Care Team Leader at the largest SEMH School in Leeds.

James’s role within Positive Regard allows him to share his expertise in behaviour culture and mental health. James delivers direct classroom support, training and consultancy within the trust and across the country empowering and upskilling staff to offer children the support and education they deserve.
