Ryan began his journey in the education sector nine years ago in a mainstream primary school in Barnsley. Over the last four years, he has worked alongside the leadership team in a Leeds based SEMH setting, leading on behaviour and safeguarding.

Ryan’s comprehensive approach to training and consultancy pulls on his years of hands-on experience and formal training. His specialist skill set means he’s able to recommend individualised strategies, behaviour management techniques, and the use of therapeutic practices such as Thrive to help children navigate their emotions and behaviours and upskill the adults who support them. Recently he has supported schools to utilise Thrive Online to assess and deliver bespoke action plans to support children’s social and emotional development.

Ryan has a deep-seated belief that building positive relationships with children should be at the heart of everything we do. He consistently demonstrates his commitment to fostering environments where children feel valued, understood, and inspired to learn.
